Hey, I’m Malisa.
Currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
I’m a graduate of the University of Georgia (December ’16) with a degree in Mass Media Arts from Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications, a degree in Film Studies from Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, and a Studio Art minor from Lamar Dodd School of Art. My education and past experiences have prepared me for a career in the Film, TV, and Media Industries. I’m also highly interested in art & culture.
I’m skilled in video production, video editing, the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), screenwriting, Adobe Premiere, social media, organization, jewelry fabrication, lost wax casting, mold making, wax modeling, marketing, sketching, and basically developing ideas individually as well as in a team setting.
I consider myself to be a hardworking, dependable, and curious person. I was once told that I have a shiny personality. I’m the type of person who wakes up early just so I can have a longer day. I despise being late and was raised in a family where it is typical for us to show up 10 or 15 minutes early. I don’t like being let down so I try not to let down others either. I enjoy a challenge and love the satisfaction when I overcome it. I’m a true believer that good things come in good time.
I could continue writing more about myself but I’d rather you come up with your own judgment through your interactions and experience with me.
Hope we cross paths or I hope to hear from you soon.
